The Purpose of this site
I have created this website to gather together documents written by Christian and Jewish writers as a
resource for anyone who wishes to research those faiths. I hope to have links to various other sites that
contain such documents as well as placing a collection of Greek, Latin and (maybe) Hebrew texts, such as
Christian texts in Greek, the LXX, Patristic texts in their original languages etc. If you have any non-copyrighted Greek,
Latin or Hebrew texts (eg as MS Word, HTML or scanned images if they are reasonably small) that I can use on
this site you can contact me at greum@tpg.com.au.
You need the font EGreek (unless noted otherwise) to view the greek letters.

I am also considering adding Christian and Jewish texts in other languages, such as Coptic and Syriac, for example.
I have also provided a series of search pages that will allow you to search in various translations and books, etc.

2 September 2004 A new addition to the family, Hannah Jane was born 9:33 pm Wed 1 September. Added a new page for her.
26 April 2004 I have begun work on the Latin Vulgate. The Pentateuch is complete and I will add more as I complete each book. I am not sure of the version but I think it may be the Clementine or Sistine edition. My intention, once I have the entire Vulgate up is to turn it into something of a "critical" edition showing the variations between the editions.
19 February 2004 I have found a few new Greek and Latin texts and
will endeavour to get them up in the near future.
Bethany is now 13 months old and standing by herself.
19 October 2003 Nine months since Bethany was born today, my how
time flies!
On a more mundane note, I have become a Christian Book Distributors Affiliate.
You can search for books from the nav bar of this page. I receive a small fee for
every book sold so please consider helping out, if I get enough sales
going through this site each month I will be able to expand this library
much quicker :-)
12 October 2003 Added accents to Didache. Added new pictures of
Bethany to personal pages, there are now two pages.
9 July 2003 2 Clement is complete
4 July 2003 1 Clement is complete.
19 June 2003 I have
started to post the J. B. Lightfoot version of 1 Clement's Greek text.
At present only Chapters 1-40 are available but I will post the
remaining chapters as I complete the editing. I entered these in myself
from scans of the original book, so they are basically freeware, use
them as you will, though I would like acknowledgement if you use them on
a web page or the like - it was very hard work :). To view these you
need the Teknia Greek font, available from www.teknia.com.
As time permits I will convert most of the other texts to use this font
also (I am using it because it is available in both Mac and PC format).
When I have completed 1 Clement I will start working on 2 Clement, so
stay tuned.
